I was born in the small town of Karlskrona, Sweden. After playing rock guitar in various bands during my teenage years, I decided to learn classical guitar - one of my old dreams. I then went on to explore jazz and flamenco, performing regularly.
I moved to London in 2001 and started performing as a singer and guitarist in London and Essex, combining my performing with teaching, first at the E11 Music Project in Leytonstone and then also in schools in Waltham Forest and Redbridge.
I currently teach guitar playing with the Waltham Forest and Redbridge Music Services as well as being Head of Guitar at Ilford Ursuline School for Girls. I also teach privately and lead the recently started Redbridge Guitar Clubs at the Drama Centre in South Woodford as well as the successful E17 Junior Guitar Club in Walthamstow.
I also perform in an acoustic duo with Lizzy Renihan.
